Behaviour loops Anonymous 92555

How do you avoid getting stuck in patterns of behaviour that you don’t love?

Some people are like NPCs going in a loop. I hope to never be like that. And be the opposite of that as much as possible.

Mindfulness meditation supposedly works against that.

You can't get stuck in patterns of behavior that you don't love, if you are attached to patterns of behavior that you do love (if they take up enough of your time.) [Insert roll safe meme here]

You tell yourself STOP whenever you see yourself about to do it, then replace it with the desired behavior. Keep doing it until the desired behavior becomes the dominant one. This requires mindfulness, of which NPCs dont have

I think what’s key in meditation is to realize that you can meditate/grow/strength any thought or feeling my consistently relighting it and not letting it change paths to something else. The more you do it the stronger and more all encompassing it becomes. As well as being easier to focus on.

One should be “meditating” no matter what we do.
Attention is the process by which our brain allocates our resources. What you pay attention to out of infinite attentions/thoughts is everything.
