Period Survey Anonymous 9534

I've never been completely sure if my periods are normal or not so I would like to do a survey:

>Are you on any period or contraceptive related medication (including pill, implant, IUD, etc)?

>How long does your period normally last (including discoloured discharge)?

>Do you have spotting in between periods?

>Is your period usually light, medium, or heavy?

>How painful is it normally on a scale of 1 (not painful) to 5 (excruciating)?

>How long does the pain last?

>How often do you need to take pain medication?

>Does your period have an impact on your daily routine?

>What sanitary products do you use and how often do you change them?

Thank you :)

>Are you on any period or contraceptive related medication (including pill, implant, IUD, etc)?
No

>How long does your period normally last (including discoloured discharge)?

7 days

>Do you have spotting in between periods?

No

>Is your period usually light, medium, or heavy?

Heavy

>How painful is it normally on a scale of 1 (not painful) to 5 (excruciating)?

Every month 4-5 if I don't take painkillers.

>How long does the pain last?

Usually only the first day.

>How often do you need to take pain medication?

Usually only twice in the first day, sometimes on the second day or day before.

>Does your period have an impact on your daily routine?

Yes, I can't do anything for one day a month and can only focus on getting rid of the pain.

>What sanitary products do you use and how often do you change them?

Cup, empty it 3 times per day for the first half and then twice per day for the second.

Two more questions:

>How often is your period?

>Is your period regular or irregular?

OP 9537

>>9536
>How often is your period?
Every 4-7 weeks.

>Is your period regular or irregular?

Irregular, I don't even bother to count any more and just go by feeling.

>Are you on any period or contraceptive related medication (including pill, implant, IUD, etc)?
No
>How long does your period normally last (including discoloured discharge)?
7 days
>Do you have spotting in between periods?
No
>Is your period usually light, medium, or heavy?
First 3 days it's heavy but after that it's very light.
>How painful is it normally on a scale of 1 (not painful) to 5 (excruciating)?
First 3 days I'd say 3-4, rest 1.
>How long does the pain last?
3 days
>How often do you need to take pain medication?
Never
>Does your period have an impact on your daily routine?
First 3 days are hell because of the heavy flow and the pain, I usually take it very easy those days. Like I just chill and skip all the chores.
>What sanitary products do you use and how often do you change them?
I use pads because TSS terrifies me so I don't use tampons and cup is too much work with having to boil it to clean it and stuff. I change every 4-6hrs depending on the flow.

Anonymous 9540

>Are you on any period or contraceptive related medication (including pill, implant, IUD, etc)?
No. Too many negative side effects, I’ve never been on the pill.

>How long does your period normally last (including discoloured discharge)?

About 6-7 days

>Do you have spotting in between periods?

No.

>Is your period usually light, medium, or heavy?

Medium/heavy with lighter days at the beginning and end.

>How painful is it normally on a scale of 1 (not painful) to 5 (excruciating)?

I have pretty painful cramps. But not to the point that I throw up or anything like some girls.

>How long does the pain last?

Most of the time.

>How often do you need to take pain medication?

I usually take a pain killer twice a day on days that I feel really bad. I have to be personable for work and I don’t want to be in pain when I’m going to sleep.

>Does your period have an impact on your daily routine?

Not really.

>What sanitary products do you use and how often do you change them?

Pads, occasionally tampons. Change both twice a day.

Anonymous 9544

>Are you on any period or contraceptive related medication (including pill, implant, IUD, etc)?
No.

>How long does your period normally last (including discoloured discharge)?

6-7 days.

>Do you have spotting in between periods?

Rarely.

>Is your period usually light, medium, or heavy?

The first two days are heavy, then it gets medium to light.

>How painful is it normally on a scale of 1 (not painful) to 5 (excruciating)?

3-4 depending of the month. Sometimes 5.

>How long does the pain last?

I don't even know because as soon as I start having cramps, I immediately take a painkiller. Sometimes just one pill it's not enough and need to take two at once, and even so it takes a hour for the pain to go away.

>How often do you need to take pain medication?

Usually I need to take 2-3 pills every day on the first 4 days.

>Does your period have an impact on your daily routine?

I'm basically useless for the first 3 days. My productivity at work drops completely. I feel worn out and the meds make me feel groggy so I can't think straight.

>What sanitary products do you use and how often do you change them?

I use regular pads. I change them 3 times a day. I used a moon cup for 6 months last year. It was okay but I stopped using it because I couldn't poop with the cup inside and it was annoying having to take it out everytime I needed to poop.

Anonymous 9545

>Are you on any period or contraceptive related medication (including pill, implant, IUD, etc)?
on the pill
>How long does your period normally last (including discoloured discharge)?
usually about 5 days but sometimes it prolongs for 10 days if i forget to take birth control

>Do you have spotting in between periods?

nope

>Is your period usually light, medium, or heavy?

it was really heavy when i was younger but since going on the pill its become much lighter

>How painful is it normally on a scale of 1 (not painful) to 5 (excruciating)?

prior to the pill, 7. after, 0

>How long does the pain last?

hours to almost days

>How often do you need to take pain medication?

i use to have to take it daily

>Does your period have an impact on your daily routine?

it makes me feel too gross and paranoid to do anything physically taxing

>What sanitary products do you use and how often do you change them?

tampons, pads made me feel like im wearing a diaper

Great thread.

>Are you on any period or contraceptive related medication (including pill, implant, IUD, etc)?

nope

>How long does your period normally last (including discoloured discharge)?

about 6 days

>Do you have spotting in between periods?

95% of time it doesn't happen

>Is your period usually light, medium, or heavy?

more on the heavier side on days 1-2, day 3-4 is medium to light, and then it's just light.

>How painful is it normally on a scale of 1 (not painful) to 5 (excruciating)?

>How long does the pain last?
>How often do you need to take pain medication?
First two days the pain can be 4, sometimes 5, during this time I need pain medication to function. Usually the third day the pain is bearable without meds, about 1-2 on the scale. Day four to day six there's no pain at all.

>Does your period have an impact on your daily routine?

it impacts me before it even starts, I get constipated few days before and that dampers my mood even more. I prefer not going out during my heavy days, I hate having to deal with this shit outside the comfort of my own home. The quality of my sleep the first two nights is pretty low too and it adds to my overall exhaustion.

>What sanitary products do you use and how often do you change them?

when I have to go out or to work during the heavier days I use tampons and change them every 5 hours or so. At home or during the night I use cups, empty them about 3 times a day. On lighter days I like those superthin pads the most, but embarrassingly don't change them as often as I should. Oh and I want to give menstrual panties a chance but I'm super picky about fabric material that touches my private parts and I'm worried I'll end up paying $35+ for a rubbery pair of panties I won't be able to stand on my body.

>How often is your period?

my cycles shortened as I got older. they started at 28 days, now it's 25.

>Is your period regular or irregular?

always been regular

Anonymous 9577

>Are you on any period or contraceptive related medication (including pill, implant, IUD, etc)?
Not anymore

>How long does your period normally last (including discoloured discharge)?

It used to last 3-2 weeks but after going on a patch for about 8 months I stopped having it for 5 months then the past 3 months I have been getting my period again and it's been 6 days then it's done.

>Do you have spotting in between periods?

whats tht

>Is your period usually light, medium, or heavy?

It has always been super heavy and I used to bleed more than a pound a week with tons of clots, but now it's medium.

>How painful is it normally on a scale of 1 (not painful) to 5 (excruciating)?

Never had cramps before.

>How long does the pain last?

lol

>How often do you need to take pain medication?

None

>Does your period have an impact on your daily routine?

Never really has but I get really angry and aggressive and have terrible mood swings

>What sanitary products do you use and how often do you change them?

When I use cup, I change it every 2 hours, and with tampons I change them every 5 hours as well.
I never use pads though fuck those lol.

Anonymous 9578

>Are you on any period or contraceptive related medication (including pill, implant, IUD, etc)?
no

>How long does your period normally last (including discoloured discharge)?

6-7 days

>Do you have spotting in between periods?

no

>Is your period usually light, medium, or heavy?

super heavy for 4 days, then lighter.

>How painful is it normally on a scale of 1 (not painful) to 5 (excruciating)?

5 for the first/second day, after i take like 4 advil im good for the week, around a 1

>How long does the pain last?

it lasts all day if i dont take advil

>How often do you need to take pain medication?

i take 1 every 2-3 hrs

>Does your period have an impact on your daily routine?

yes, the first/second day when i have pain i will sometimes have blurry vision, vomit, and pass out. i have a headache and am basically incapacitated for a whole day every month. then after that i just feel mildly bloated and tired for a week, which does hamper my productivity, but still managable.

>What sanitary products do you use and how often do you change them?

this depends how heavy it is, i double with tampons and pads so i dont have accidents and then i can just tell whenever i need to change it.

>Are you on any period or contraceptive related medication (including pill, implant, IUD, etc)?
No, never.
>How long does your period normally last (including discoloured discharge)?
4 days.
>Do you have spotting in between periods?
No
>Is your period usually light, medium, or heavy?
Heavy on Day 1 & 2, light after.
>How painful is it normally on a scale of 1 (not painful) to 5 (excruciating)?
5 on Day 1, 4 on Day 2, 1 after.
>How long does the pain last?
All day.
>How often do you need to take pain medication?
Two naproxen on Day 1 and I'm good.
>Does your period have an impact on your daily routine?
Yes, very much so. I am practically disabled on Day 1 and my skin is blotchy, so I'm scared of going out anyway, lol.
>What sanitary products do you use and how often do you change them?
Used tamp + pads since Day 1 is heavy af, but am switching to some reusable pads soon since insertables give me anxiety. I havw cups, but I'm really grossed out by them tbh.
>How often is your period?
It likes to switch from 2 weeks to 4, and rarely 6, weeks in between. I can't track it at all.
>Is your period regular or irregular?
Very irregular. Most of the time I have to go by my skin and how my boobs look.

Anonymous 9635

>Are you on any period or contraceptive related medication (including pill, implant, IUD, etc)?
None

>How long does your period normally last (including discoloured discharge)?

3 days for the heavy bleeding, 3 days for last bits of it

>Do you have spotting in between periods?

Happened just once

>Is your period usually light, medium, or heavy?

Very heavy at first then it becomes light as I mentioned

>How painful is it normally on a scale of 1 (not painful) to 5 (excruciating)?

4

>How long does the pain last?

3 days

>How often do you need to take pain medication?

Everyday when it's heavy

>Does your period have an impact on your daily routine?

Yes because I get stomach cramps, back pain and in general I just feel like the garbage. I also think I have PMDD because I frequently feel suicidal the day right before it starts, though not always.

>What sanitary products do you use and how often do you change them?

Pads whenever I see they're full.

Anonymous 9636

>Are you on any period or contraceptive related medication (including pill, implant, IUD, etc)?
Nothing regular lol

>How long does your period normally last (including discoloured discharge)?

5-6 days. Sometimes 7 if my body hates me.

>Do you have spotting in between periods?

Almost never. It had happened (when I was young and when I’ve taken emergency contraceptive mid cycle) but it’s rare.

>Is your period usually light, medium, or heavy?

Medium heavy for the first few days, light af for the rest.

>How painful is it normally on a scale of 1 (not painful) to 5 (excruciating)?

3. It used to feel like nothing but it’s gotten worse as I’ve gotten older.

>How long does the pain last?

Only the first couple of day

>How often do you need to take pain medication?

A midol/ibuprofen before bed. I deal with the pain the rest of the time

>Does your period have an impact on your daily routine?

I can’t always go to the bathroom at my job but I make time when I’m on my period. Other than that, no.

>What sanitary products do you use and how often do you change them?

I prefer tampons but now I use pads when I’m heavy/in pain. Yes, I’ve tried a cup but it didn’t fit (must have a fucked up vagoo lol). I only change them once or twice a day so it’s not even expensive to use disposable stuff

>How often is your period?

Every 30 days (usually). Sometimes my cycle lasts 29, other times it’s more like 32. I credit that to weight and stress more than anything else.

>Is your period regular or irregular?

Regular. Despite the cycle varying, I’ve never actually skipped a period.

Anonymous 9669

Thanks for the thread, OP. I think this is a really important topic that people don't talk about enough.

>Are you on any period or contraceptive related medication (including pill, implant, IUD, etc)?

Yes, have been taking the mini-pill for two years which totally got rid of my period.

>How long does your period normally last (including discoloured discharge)?

The bleeding would last around 4 days (with the first two being the worst, obviously) but the other symptoms (pain, bad mood, feeling bloated, vomiting, headaches, food cravings) would start days before and last even after the bleeding had stopped.

>Do you have spotting in between periods?

Never.

>Is your period usually light, medium, or heavy?

Heavy on the first day or two and then light after that.

>How painful is it normally on a scale of 1 (not painful) to 5 (excruciating)?

5. It was absolutely unbearable which is why I had to start taking a pill which completely got rid of my periods. I used to take days out from school/college and couldn't partake in extracurricular activities (I was often told off for missing training sessions or rehearsals so I just…gave up). The pain was so bad that I would repeatedly throw up on the first day, making it really difficult to keep painkillers down. I often over-dosed on painkillers or scalded myself with heat packs. I've fainted quite a few times due to the pain which was scary. It was just safer to stay at home.

>How long does the pain last?

A few days before, the entire period and then a few days after (so anywhere from 4 days to 8 days). I would also get pain mid-way between periods (I think this was ovulation) which used to make me freak out and think my period was coming early lol.

>How often do you need to take pain medication?

All the time. I usually took a combination of ibuprofen and panadol/codeine every two hours, more if I was vomiting. My doctor prescribed me ponstan a few times which was great but too expensive for me to keep going to the doctor for. I've probably tried every over-the-counter painkiller at some point.

>Does your period have an impact on your daily routine?

Absolutely. It had a huge impact on my school/college attendance and I dropped out of all my extracurriculars because I was falling behind. If I started my period when there was any kind of event or party, I would have to cancel. My parents used to bring me on holidays and everyone else would go out hiking, touristing or swimming and I would stay in the hotel room hanging over the toilet bowl and wailing. My parents wouldn't allow me to take the pill growing up as they believed it would encourage me to have underage sex or I'd gain weight. Pretty sad looking back that my parents would rather me suffer than lose their skinny, frigid daughter.

>What sanitary products do you use and how often do you change them?

Started with pads as a child/teen but found them quite messy and had to change them every few hours (would always leak when I used the night-time ones). Was always told myths about tampons growing up and once I had the ability to Google and realise they were bullshit, I much much preferred tampons and only had to change them every 4 to 8 hours (I'd always but the biggest pads/tampons). Then most recently I got a period cup and I HIGHLY recommend them. I didn't get to use it much before I started my current pill but I just found it to be so much cleaner and easier to use. Plus I could change it more regularly without feeling like I was contributing more waste and it made me feel all fresh to do it more regularly.

I'm on The Pill™. I.e. both of the hormones

5-6 days when I used to get normal periods

I didn't. Now I will if I don't pop my pill at exactly the same time.

My blood ranged from red to dark brown/red.

My pain was usually a 2-5. I fainted a work once and the doctor said my brain was basically just overloaded by pain. That was a 5. I also consider a 5 where I'm making moans like an animal uncontrollably, and both of these experiences occurred with painkillers.

The pain lasts throughout each day.

800mg of ibuprofen 2x a day

Yes, it does, but I have to push through it.

I use tampons everywhere and I add pads at home.

>How often is your period?
It's very volatile. It averages out into a ~40 day cycle, but when anything different happens like weight changes or stress, it can take anywhere from 3 months to more than 6 months for my next period to arrive.

>Is your period regular or irregular?

Very irregular, but always heavy.

>Are you on any period or contraceptive related medication (including pill, implant, IUD, etc)?

No. Last time i was on the pill, i was suicidal and almost got diabetes.

5-7 days

>Do you have spotting in between periods?

Very heavy

>How painful is it normally on a scale of 1 (not painful) to 5 (excruciating)?

Most of the time its 2.5, but last month (when i hadn't had a period for 8 months before that one) the pain was a 4.

>How long does the pain last?

3 to 10 minutes, coming back thrice a day on average.

>Does your period have an impact on your daily routine?

Yes, heavily. I need to plan my days accordingly.

That's not due to being vegetarian then, it's due to very poor nutrition.

Anonymous 9814

That's true, both women might not be getting enough iron or other nutrients because they haven't planned their diets enough. I didn't mean to imply that being a vegetarian will always cause short periods.

Anonymous 9818

>>9813
ayrt, take iron every day and am not anemic or anything. i supplement and my micros (and macros) are good. idk anons, could do with the fact that vegans and vegetarians are taking in a lot less hormones (i personally rarely eat or drink dairy), or could have to do with soy and legumes or something? or maybe just literally that women are taking in too many hormones through meat and their periods are longer on average due to that, too?

technically 3 days is still healthy and in range and my periods are extremely regular and always have been, but i wouldn't be surprised if there was some benefit personally to the consumption of fewer unnecessary and exogenous hormones. a lot of people don't supplement well though and just eat potato chips or sides for all meals with no focus on nutrition, ngl. could just be a coincidence of course, but i wouldn't necessarily assume it's a bad thing if this kind of thing was truly linked to not eating meat.

>Does your period have an impact on your daily routine?

severe, i am pretty much out of commission for several days

>What sanitary products do you use and how often do you change them?

pads, I change them when it's necessary, usually twice a day
i also used rags as a teenager

i am unable to use anything which requires inserting because of pain

For those of you who lived with other women, have you ever head of menstrual synchrony? I have never lived with any women my mom aside, but on college some of my friends that lived in the dormitory mentioned how their period synchronized after a few months with a colleage of theirs.

>Are you on any period or contraceptive related medication (including pill, implant, IUD, etc)?
I was on the needle for almost eight years, and I would have stuck with it if not for the weight gain and the depression. Right now I am not on any birth control and I won't be anytime soon because I do not have a boyfriend, but if I do get back on it I will probably go for the copper IUD. I am very anxious at the thought of insertion, though.

>How long does your period normally last (including discoloured discharge)?

About seven or eight days in total.

>Do you have spotting in between periods?

Never.

>Is your period usually light, medium, or heavy?

It depends on the day. The first day is okay, the second day is hell, the third day sucks and after that it's easy sailing.

>How painful is it normally on a scale of 1 (not painful) to 5 (excruciating)?

Even on my worst day it's about a two or a three. I am very lucky compared to some other ladies.

>How long does the pain last?

It just happens on my second day, it's manageable cramping.

>How often do you need to take pain medication?

I've never had to take medication to relieve period pain. Maybe an Advil?

>Does your period have an impact on your daily routine?

Not really, it did moreso before making the switch from pads to tampons.

>What sanitary products do you use and how often do you change them?

When I am at work during the day I usually wear a tampon for extra protection (and change it as needed of course). But other than that I have been sticking with Bambody menstrual underwear, I initially got them because it just felt unhealthy to have to wear a tampon 24/7. Even on my heaviest day, without the use of any other sanitary product, I do not leak. You can change them as needed, but I manage to get away with changing them like normal underwear once a day. I don't think I will ever go back to not wearing them.

>How often is your period?

Once every five weeks or so.

>Is your period regular or irregular?

It's like clockwork. The only time it was irregular was after I got off the needle, and even then my body sorted itself out pretty quickly.

>Are you on any period or contraceptive related medication (including pill, implant, IUD, etc)?
I've had an implant since 2015. Was on the pill for 4 years before that.

>How long does your period normally last (including discoloured discharge)?

Pre-BC 7-10 days. On the pill and implant 3-6 days.

>Do you have spotting in between periods?

When the implant was first put in, and around the 3 year mark so I got it replaced. Originally the prescription info said 3 years, but the nurse told me it was ok for another year. I was tired of crazy spotting though, so I re-upped.

>Is your period usually light, medium, or heavy?

Pre-BC heavy. Currently medium-light.

>How painful is it normally on a scale of 1 (not painful) to 5 (excruciating)?

The pre-cycle mood swings were/are the worst. I don't get crazy abdominal cramps, but sometimes the crotch just feels heavy and sore.

>How long does the pain last?

Pre-BC the first couple days. Currently random hours.

>How often do you need to take pain medication?

Rarely, more often when off BC and on other types of BC.

>Does your period have an impact on your daily routine?

Since it's so irregular, sometimes I need to make an emergency supplies run. Most of the time it comes on slowly and I just deal.

>What sanitary products do you use and how often do you change them?

Tampons & pantiliners 2-3 times a day. A cup if I have been having heavier and consistent cycles 2 times a day. I liked using the cup, but when I can't expect my cycle and it's lighter it's a bit of a hassle.

>How often is your period? Is your period regular or irregular?

Pre-BC I had a long ass cycle that I wasn't able to track well (In the days where you keep a little calendar in your wallet). The first round of the implant it was ~quarterly. Now I'm not really sure.

>Are you on any period or contraceptive related medication (including pill, implant, IUD, etc)?

No

>How long does your period normally last (including discoloured discharge)?

6 days

>Do you have spotting in between periods?

I used to get it when I first started having periods, but I don’t get it anymore

>Is your period usually light, medium, or heavy?

Medium for the 1st day or 2 then light after that

>How painful is it normally on a scale of 1 (not painful) to 5 (excruciating)?

About a 3 for the first day and then nothing at all after that. I also feel a bit sick for the first day but that clears up quickly too

>How long does the pain last?

Only the first day

>How often do you need to take pain medication?

Once

>Does your period have an impact on your daily routine?

Not at all

>What sanitary products do you use and how often do you change them?

I use pads and change them every 4-6 hours. I don’t like using tampons

>How often is your period?

Every 21 days

>Is your period regular or irregular?

Regular

As an aside I remember reading about about periods a few years before I had my first one, and I freaked out because every book and website I read said that they would be super painful and you wouldn’t be able to do anything while you were having your period. And then when I actually got them it wasn’t anywhere near as bad as what I feared they would be.

>Are you on any period or contraceptive related medication (including pill, implant, IUD, etc)?
I am not

>How long does your period normally last (including discoloured discharge)?

Around 8 to 9 days. Shortest was 5 days and longest was 11 days.

>Do you have spotting in between periods?

Usually I don't, but I has happened in times when I was very sick.

>Is your period usually light, medium, or heavy?

It usually starts extremely heavy and then gets ligther in the following days.

>How painful is it normally on a scale of 1 (not painful) to 5 (excruciating)?

The first days are incredibly painful, I feel like I might pass out or vomit. Usually I cannot walk. I'd rate it a 5. But on the 3rd day it progressively gets better and goes down to a 2 with mild discomfort.

>How long does the pain last?

The pain can last from 1 to 2 days. Sometimes I cannot sleep because of it.

>How often do you need to take pain medication?

I try to avoid it as it can damage my inner ear according to my audiologist (I have single sided deafness). But when the pain is unbearable I usually go for some paracetamol, it doesn't help much but it can alieviate some of it. If I take medication I only do it once.

>Does your period have an impact on your daily routine?

Yes, during my period I feel very incapacitated on the painful days. When the pain goes down I am functional again.

>What sanitary products do you use and how often do you change them?

I use pads, I change them 4 times a day because of how heavy the bleeding can get. I tried using a menstrual cup but they were too painful for me.

Anonymous 11428

I’m like 33 btw

1. No
2. Eh 4-5 days
3. No
4. Starts off heavy for the first 24-48 hours, then lightens up as each day passes.
5. Depends. Sometimes it can be awful for a few months (7-8) then for a year straight it will be like a 1-2. No pain past first 12 hours though no matter how terrible.
6. See above.
7. Naw. But I probably should.
8. Only when the pain is level 8 but it’s rare.
9. Regular tampons. I change them often during the first two days but I don’t like super tampons. I’d rather just change them more often. Around the fourth day or whenever I start getting light (mud blood), I free bleed. I have period panties exclusively for this. They're old. I never bleed through cause it’s just mud at that point lol. It horrifies my mother. I don’t give a shit. Pads give me diaper rash. Cups hurt my cervix. I don’t like dry tampons or light tampons. Suck it.

Oh and I’m regular af. You can set a watch to it.

>Are you on any period or contraceptive related medication (including pill, implant, IUD, etc)?

no

>How long does your period normally last (including discoloured discharge)?

around 4-6 days

>Do you have spotting in between periods?

YES. sometimes it comes out of no where n it's so scary

>Is your period usually light, medium, or heavy?

let's go with medium

>How painful is it normally on a scale of 1 (not painful) to 5 (excruciating)?

on the first day it's usually a 4-5 but as soon as the next day starts it's a 0-1

>How long does the pain last?

just that one day for me

>How often do you need to take pain medication?

i have to take some the night i see spotting, and in the morning of the first day and then maybe mid day again.

>Does your period have an impact on your daily routine?

yes, just for the first day (pain wise) but for every other day it's just me having to go to the bathroom more often

>What sanitary products do you use and how often do you change them?

i use pads bc i'm scared of tampons! i have to change them every like two-three hours

Anonymous 11459

>Are you on any period or contraceptive related medication (including pill, implant, IUD, etc)?
Nope

>How long does your period normally last (including discoloured discharge)?

About a week? One day of hormone fuckery that makes me argue with people before I realise why I'm pissed off, a day of cramps and then a few days of bleeding.

>Do you have spotting in between periods?

Never noticed anything

>Is your period usually light, medium, or heavy?

I'd say it's pretty light, I've had friends with much worse

>How painful is it normally on a scale of 1 (not painful) to 5 (excruciating)?

Usually it just feels like stomach sickness, but once I discovered had a little cut on my vaginal wall and that hurt so much I almost screamed

>How long does the pain last?

About a day, sometimes I sleep through it

>How often do you need to take pain medication?

Never, they don't work and I end up throwing them up if I try

>Does your period have an impact on your daily routine?

Not at the moment, I don't leave the house

>What sanitary products do you use and how often do you change them?

I used to use tampons but they kinda hurt. Pads suck also. Mostly I just let it happen and shower and change clothes to keep myself kinda clean. I should probably look into other methods but at the moment I'm a NEET so it doesn't matter. I know it's gross, lmao
