>>32843>I go to an animation school and some people from Disney showed up to screen Wish at our school. The audience, being filled with artists, filmmakers, and animators, could't even manage holding back laughter lol. This sounds so awesome lmao. How embarrassing.
>>33694>How did this make its way into the final product, instead of being scrapped immediately and replaced by something decent?I'd say maybe they ran out of budget or time, but this is Disney we're talking about, and I believe the movie took enough time to make that it should've have at least been decent.
But on second thought, maybe it's because the art of animation, at least within Disney, is dying. I believe it was Richard Williams (RIP) who said that animation schools are running out of people who actually know how to animate and teach the young artists. Though I'm not an animator nor have I been to animation school, my theory is that Disney is running out of people who know how to make good animated films, from the writing to the animation.
