I wish it wasnt written to be as uniquely off-putting as it is, because i like the art style, and some of their antics. I like the initial setup. It could have had so much potential but the writers squandered it.

honestly? at first i felt similar, especially because of Ashleys dialogue cause it left me thinking 'nobody thats normal speaks like this wth' and then i got it: ashleys not a normal person - like that is the point

for me personally, i think it doesnt have enough choices to earn the visual-novel tag, its a neat puzzle game with story, just not a choice-driven one

Its just too unrealistic. Leyley feels written by a moid. To be uniquely and thoroughly loathsome. Its easy to make an unbelievably heinous woman a villain, all your male viewers eat right out of your hand because we've been sold on how fucked up women are capable of being. Its giving them what they want once again.

Meanwhile in real life, we only ever really see the script upside down. Borderline lapdog women like Pam Bondi follow around satan-spawn like Trump, doing exactly what they're told. Men never want to call attention to their evil, so they write evil unbelievable women you've never met in your life.
