Shonen is definitely one of the animes genres that only got better over time. Old shonen is actually so fucking retarded I have no idea how anyone other than lobotomites watched it. At least new shonen has good animation these days.

One piece is boring garbage. Jojo is definitely boring garbage. Naruto is probably boring garbage.

I liked dr. Stone a bit though.

Because it used to still mainly catered only to the group in its name, "shonen". I feel like it's kind of a meaningless term now.
Also, I find it very funny how the most highest rated and respected shonen anime of all time was authored by a woman. Very understandable, Fullmetal Alchemist Brotherhood is a genuine masterpiece. The shonen that (unfortunately!) made anime mainstream, Demon Slayer, was also authored by a woman.

Also I liked mob psycho too. I think the characters and the humor were pretty good, the shonen fights not as much though.
