Why don't people eat soup more often? For some reason it's only chicken soup reserved for winter and sick people. Try eating some broccoli and cheddar soup. Maybe a nice cauliflower soup.

Satay soup- chicken stock, satay sauce, garlic and ginger, lime juice, soy sauce, red curry paste, coconut milk, chicken, spring onions, bean sprouts. I have it with noodles, top it with peanuts or and spring onions and maybe shallots, chili oil, whatever.

seafood stew
1 lb cod
1 lb shrimp
1 can clams
(~1/2 stick of butter if using cream, use olive oil if not)
1 onion
1 or 2 carrots
1 lb potatoes, I like gold or regular idaho
1 cup corn
1 or 2 sticks celery
(if not using cream 1 or 2 cans diced tomatoes, if you got fresh ones use those)
4ish cups (or 6ish if not using cream) vegetable broth. you could use chicken too, but I prefer vegetable because the soup tastes a bit fishier. if you can find seafood broth use that but good luck
(2 cups heavy cream, if you want a cream based soup)
1 tsp thyme
1 tsp paprika
1 to 2 tsp italian seasoning
(if not using cream I like to add 0.5 tsp red pepper flakes, or a bit more if you want more spice)
there should be a good amount of salt in the broth, but add more to taste
black pepper, decent amount
so just make it like a vegetable soup, then all the seafood goes in very near the end so it doesn't overcook
