Excluding swifties may be the cause of my social isolation. Still preferable. Last one told me that I wasn't a good feminist for not liking some fucking song that was on every station when I was in middle school.

Anonymous 308863

bruh I've never seen unironic swifties on the wild on the internet
sometimes I wonder if its some Mandela effect shit whenever I hear about them

I will happily trade experiences with you, tho.

What was the song?

I think "you belong with me".

Karaoke bar exploding in white girl wasted chaos and I was just chilling with my drink minding my own business in the group, one of the girls walked up to me saying "ISNT THIS FUN??" Tried to be neutral and said "people seem to be vibing to it" and it went down hill from there. I am the worst feminist for thinking she's a billionaire and particularly cloying.

Tried to explain I'm into outsider or obscure music most of the time and she thought I might like a "lesser known artist" named Chappel Roan.

Maybe I'm judgemental but I prefer it that way.

thats totally cool. people can like what they want as long as they don't take a dig at me if I don't.

Hmm, strange, because most libfems are not at all sympathetic to Taylor. But I find it interesting that recently, listening to TS has been treated as an act of resistance to misogyny and refusal of empty and rtarted progressivism by a certain wing of Xwitter.

Maybe it's regional? The majority of libfems or just generally out of touch normies I've met irl are uncritically into her.

Hmm, most libfems I've seen love to idolize Beyonce or Nicki Minaj, and they usually label TS as "basic" among other BS that they usually parrot, like taking racism out of their asses etc. I don't think TS is an example of feminism but who among us are, right?

I forgot to mention that they also think Pedro Pascal is hot and that having casual sex is empowering (yes, it only gets worse)
