Saturday Night Anonymous 309659

What are you fellow nonas up to tonight?

Me? I'm currently drinking and playing my favorite online gambling games of course! All while listening to my favorite Eisley tracks.

Anyone up to anything enjoyable and exciting tonight? Or did you have a enjoyable Saturday overall? Anyone else jamming out to a favorite artist or album?

Lets share our experiences from the day. Even if we're physically alone, we can connect through the screen.

I hope even if your day wasnt the brightest, that you're still able to find something to smile at.

Cheers nonas. Heres to a lovely evening together.

I'm watching Kusuriya no Hitorigoto and making hot chocolate. I should have studied or gone to the gym today, but I didn't do either and I'm really frustrated.

There is always tomorrow, I like to write down what I regret I didn't complete to try to motivate myself for the future. It sounds like youre having a comfy night!

Thank you. I'm on episode 37 and I'm loving it. It's a soap opera-style anime. Later, I want to create a thread about this anime here on CC.

I'm drinking too, just playing games

I tried to watch this in Japanese but it was too advanced for me. :(

i need to work out too… woke up missing someone who used to be here every morning. it feels weird being alone again, but it’s not all bad. i’m trying to stay productive. been watching anime and practicing japanese. kusuriya no hitorigoto looks fun, i might check it out next. thanks. simple things, like a good show, really do help.

Finally went to the gym, but I forgot my cell phone at home, I had to count my reps using only my brain, just like my ancient Visigoth ancestors did.

>>309675
Do you take Japanese classes or study on your own?

>>309676
One of the best soap operas I've ever seen, Asians know how to write a good drama

I literally can't feel hunger or appetite after I've been hit by stress and this fucks me up so much because I end up being unable to eat normally

ntn but I grew up in Japan till about 10, then I studied it in college (which didn't help much). I mostly watched and read stuff. they do know how to write some good dramas! one of my favorites is Koibito Yo

that's kinda cool nona!! I'm also trying to read stuff in Japanese, most recently the No longer human book. Idk what level it is, but the beginning doesn't seem to have very complicated language so far.

They once posted some Japanese study material here on the chan. It was a downloadable book and audio kit that seemed great. It was called Genki. It's a shame they said it was a moid they had posted and deleted the thread. Do you know this material?

Anonymous 309745

>>309744
yeah genki is very popular actually and youll hear about it a lot if you try learning japanese.
i personally just like straight up trying to read stuff with a dictionary but this may be not for everyone

Anonymous 309757

>>309744
genki’s solid, so is tae kim, but honestly i don’t think language sticks well when it’s too sterile. like babies don’t learn with grammar charts.
