What is living in Japan really like?

Over a decade ago I used to watch J-vloggers on youtube, but only a couple of them since most gave off annoying vibes
What is it like to live in a capitalistic nightmare ? Everyone's value depends on their ability to make money and look good.
If people think work is slavery in the America then Japans even worse, the corporate culture is absolute cancer which in turn turns almost everyone into a walking corpse of emptiness and instant gratification. Prostitution is widespread, easily accessible and cheating is rampant. That being said, I know a friend of a friend who moved there from Portugal, she got married and has now a kid so there is hope I guess.
The crime rate is exceptionally low, but so is it in Dubai which is even more of a slavery livestock pen.
The afore mentionned friend gets along with her in-laws surprisingly well, who love to be visited and dote on the kid.
Japan is very disciplined and polite, people hardly experience rudeness but they are crushed by the implicit high expectactions and loneliness. Reputation can make or unmake someone in Japan, which probably explains why marketing is so aggressive. Sexual violence there is not brutal or spectacular but hidden and manipulative.
My two cents
