i made a new friend when i started college in september, and ive recently noticed she's kind of a bitch. i have a crush on this guy, which she knows about, and she's always talking about how we can share and stuff. today, i posted a vid of me speaking french on my story, and she replied saying i sounded retarded. also she hates animals and fruit, and i cant even stop being friends with her because she's already intergrated her way into my friend group, am i overreacting?

Yeah that's a red flag itself.
Honestly I would try and speak it out with her, not in a "ooouh you hurt muh feelings" , but more in a way that's saying how you want to set boundaries. Also tell your common how she acts and if they joke it off then those aren't exactly your friends either.
I feel like the "you sound retarded" reply wouldn't have been bad if it weren't for the context prior. She definitely didn't mean it in a joking matter. Seriously, just block her. Not worth stressing over this too much.

I assume she has just started college too, and this might be an overly generous reading of her behavior, but I wonder if she's not overcompensating by being far, far too confident. It might be worth mentioning this to her. Even if she takes it badly, it doesn't sound like you're going to be friends for long.
I definitely remember doing something like this when I was younger and more insecure. For the record I never told anyone I would fuck their boyfriend or called them retarded for speaking a second langauge. However, I definitely tried a bit too hard to be funny and got the look a few times from people who didn't appreciate it.

Say nothing, just ghost her gradually, simply fade away. Alerting her would only cause her to preemptively use all the information she has on you to bad-mouth you and turn your friends against you. She'll do that later anyway once she'll realize what is going on, but by then the information she has on you will be older and won't do so much damage.
