Is that recent? Because nearly two weeks ago when I started to raid CC I spent a short time on LC and after only a few posts I noticed they blocked VPNs. I'd like to think that only started because of me, but probably not. There's no VPN requirement for threads on /meta/. It's a thread per thread basis.
