I'm trying to get my looser ass into shape lol. My goal is to increase my cardio so I can run 100m to the bus without dying (so I'm trying to go out and walk daily and/or jump rope), daily morning 10 minute routine that gets the blood pumping and some muscles moving (if I'm not in the mood I plan to just jump rope until I'm tired), and once I'm stuck to that I'm starting 3 days a week some extra muscle training for my twiggy arms and legs as well as my core cause I have lots of back pain. Mostly body weight exercises but I've also got a 5lb weight that I'll use for my arms for now.
An entire childhood of skipping or not bothering to attempt gym class followed by an adulthood of video games and studying hasn't been good on my body, my back especially lol.
I'm also really underweight so I'm hoping doing some workouts will increase my hunger. I need to gain like 20 lbs so I'm hoping this helps, if nothing else I hope the muscle adds weight

Fatchan (with tenure) reporting in. I’ve been dieting since Jan and I’m on track to get below 200lbs (mostly by watching my diet but I’m also walking more) by summer but after my weight is under control the goal is to get my waist measurement down rather than aiming for a specific UGW or BMI. This is a part of a greater glow up plan as I’ve REALLY let myself go since 2020. Unfortunately I don’t have access to a gym anymore but I want to get back into home workouts on my non-walking days

Just lose 35 pounds and finally not feel like a giantess since I’m already 5’8 I’m doing calorie counting and it’s going pretty good hopefully I reach my goal in a short period of time

Another Fattychan reporting. Stopped actively trying to lose weight for about a year but back on the bandwagon. Last weigh-in was 183, down from when I started which was around ~225. Would like to be around ~130ish but generally just trying to be like, not fat anymore. I would like to get into some body recomp stuff and would like to generally do more athletic stuff like I did when I was younger. Hoping to reach my goal by the end of the year or beginning of next.

To lose 17 lbs in the next 6ish weeks
I lost 43 lbs january- march, but I fell off this month and only lost 2 lbs the whole month.
Locking back in and starvemaxxing until I am 130 lbs
I started at 192/BMI 30 and now I am 147/BMI 23
For actual fitness I just need to improve my cardio. Biking, maybe running. I used to be somewhat fit but after the weight gain I cant bike from point a to point b anymore without feeling like dying.

Get my body fat % low enough to actually show off my muscles. I was so close before covid but losing gym access for so long and getting sick myself completely torpedoed my progress reee.

The best advice I can give you is to track calories and see how much your TDEE is for.
I’ve stopped buying chips, soda, alcohol, and sweets and that’s been a good change. Don’t fall into the trap of “oh I’ll just eat a few!” Because you’ll stress eat (like me lol) and that stuff is super high in calories.

I started working out to reach a healthy weight on the BMI scale so that I could finally be eligible to sell my eggs.
I've lost 15 pounds in 4 months so far, and I've 10 more to go!
