This thread has made me remember an lc post from nearly a decade ago involving a news article about a deformed hydrocephalic but "intellectually functional and independent" adult male who had an extremely beautiful girlfriend who posed with him on social media and never slept with him, frequently slept with attractive men, and routinely pummeled his "soft, sensitive head" for stress relief. The news article waas in the wake of the male being hospitalized because one of her numerous lovers found him, so she began hitting him with something in order to put on a show as though his presence was unexpected.

Unfortunately either time or the internet seems to have destroyed all evidence and I am left wondering if I somehow imagined the whole thing. Even if there is a news story that's no guarantee of accuracy. I think it was an American news story but it was bizarre enough to have been invented anyways just like most British or European news stories about such things.
