Not sure if this is the right board for this but have you ever been to the psych ward? What are your stories/experiences?
I went three times. In 2015 there was this one girl who constantly broke down over any little thing, one girl who cut herself with pencils and was very homicidal. Some gay dude with a bad temper. One time the girl with the anger issues and another girl were beefing so one girl was moved to the boys side and the other girl literally leaned over the desk to get to her. Apparently there was a lot of sexual shit going on between patients, even two dudes.
I don't remember much about my second time.
Third time in 2021 there was this old creepy guy who'd harass women and none of the staff would do anything, I think he was schizo too, at one point another guy got sick of it and fought him. There was one guy who was very nice but I found out he had charges for beating his wife.

Twice so far. First time a few weeks, second time a few months, both times for psychosis and against my will. First time I was way more chill and cooperative, food was good, interesting new people to meet, made a few new friends and felt like a summer school camp only in winter. Second time they had to wrestle me into the isolation ward as I just wanted the fuck out of there. Then they injected some strong shit in my butt and I can't remember the next two whole weeks, then I came to my senses again after being catatonic and it was just boring wating to be released. It's a necessary evil in my book, at least in the case of psychosis.
