Have you tried going vegan? What are your thoughts on it?
Anonymous 21301
go vegan it was the best choice i’ve ever made
Anonymous 21305
Pescatarian. It's pretty easy.
Anonymous 21311
>>21301Same! I should've done it way sooner

>>21300Meat tastes good. Never gonna quit it.
Anonymous 21338
>>21313Same. The Zizians troon cult has also made me go anti vegan aka eat all them nutrient rich meats from factory farms. Don’t forget to eat your omega 3 eggs too :)

>>21338Will just stop oil make you become an oil baron? Will peta make you purchase two unspayed/neutered cats to create a kitten mill? Get a grip. It's pathetic to abandon your principles for such a ridiculous reason.

>>21338That's really petty and sad, ngl.

>>21300I went vegan in January. It's a little tough hitting my protein goals without cottage cheese and similar things, but it's worth it.
Anonymous 21690
>>21313I really don't care about the taste of meat but honestly animal products are just irreplaceable in the convenience of its nutrients. You need like double the size of anything vegan to hit similar milestones on proteins and fats. It just becomes gross to eat and cook that much.

Been eight years for me, and it's honestly super easy. I spend very little on food as I buy dry pulses (beans, lentils, etc.) and fresh local vegetables are cheap here. I've gotten way better at cooking, since my options eating out got reduced. I have a much better relationship with food and I actually know what I'm eating; plus I feel healthier.
I don't think everyone needs to be vegan, but high-plant diets are just good by any measure.

I have been vegan since I was about 15-ish, and it honestly works really well for me. Like all of my health markers are good, and it lowkey forces me to eat healthier than I would otherwise.
Anonymous 22570
I think veganism ages you out alot no?
Anonymous 22605
been doing it for 9 years. wish i started sooner. i have to hide my beauty because despite my ripe age, i am still getting people hot and bothered. i still think of myself as a young person physically but i already have the emotions of someone old, which constantly confuses people who are very slow in realizing i am way older then i look 🤣
Anonymous 22610
>>22605Don’t forget to take creatine and b12
Anonymous 22611
I'm vegetarian, I've considered going vegan but I like parmesan pasta and pizza too much, also yogurt, aside from dairy products I don't eat other animal products

>>22611cheese is a (mild) drug that creates physical addiction, i don't get it why this is not widely discussed. apparently there is a substance in the cheese (something like caesomophin, check the youtube link) it docks to the same receptor that heroin docks to. so you are drugging yourself every time you eat it.
there are so much better sources of fat, my favorite is sesame paste, which is nothing but industrially ground up sesame seeds. it tastes amazing, goes with everything. mild nutty and creamy, i love it!
in the youtube link the process of how to get milk is discussed. once you stop closing your eyes at that they artificially keep the cows pregnant and rip their calves away as they (mother and child) cry for each other there is no going back because you otherwise say being a warcriminal against nature is ok.
don't look away, find out about this horrible process necessary for every drop of milk you buy in the store.

i don't think i could ever go vegan. i like dairy too much. but i have an inflammatory disorder that affects my gut, if I don't want to be in pain i basically have to eat vegetarian or pescatarian.
Anonymous 22617
>>22614>i don't think i could ever go vegani guess you never even bothered to try
Anonymous 22680
I wanna go vegetarian/vegan because I feel bad about causing harm to animals but unfortunately most alternatives to meat and cheese also hurt animals plus they taste nasty to me, what should I do?
Anonymous 22683
>>22681its not like we have a dwindling sea life population or anything
Anonymous 22756
>>22680alternatives hurt way less, cheese is overrated and learn to season your food
Anonymous 22792
>>22680>but unfortunately most alternatives to meat and cheese also hurt animalsthis is what mindless consumers actually believe

>>21300It's the bare minimum of moral consistency in my opinion, and I don't even consider myself a particularly good person. A significant part of what I consume still comes from exploitation in some shape or form, but it's a manageable goal for now. I'm starting to replace my cosmetics with cruelty-free ones. Hopefully one day I have enough energy to actually look into fair produce too. I'm really sad though because most vegan communities are filled with communists and troons and the rest of the world hates me. At least there's hummus

>>22793>I'm starting to replace my cosmetics with cruelty-free ones.i just recently started putting aloe vera into my smoothies and every time i do, i have a few off cuts from where i removed the skin that have plenty of that good gel left on them. then i take these offcuts and just rub them on my skin or on my hair.
i buy the leaves in the asian grocery store but i guess it would be even easier to just have a aloe plant on my balcony.
