I tried to quit coffee but I miss the bitter taste too much. Hmm maybe I should alternate between it and other drinks. I probably have some mineral deficiencies too because last night I wanted to eat something chalky and cigs.
I like dates… so sweet in a controlled manner. They should make more variants of date chocolates.
I really love cherry tomatoes. I think they motivate me to eat better for some reason. I need to buy gooseberries.

Try barley tea or kombucha?

I have been thinking of buying Kombucha or making my own. I should look into Barley tea…any brands you like?

nta but i really like the Ito En brand for barley tea. they're just big bags you put in a pitcher for a few hours. it's really meant to be had iced but you could drink it hot if you want. where i'm at a pack of about 50 of them is less than $10 USD. iced/chilled it's my favorite drink in the summer.

Have you tried chaga tea? It has a bitter and roasty taste but with no caffeine.

This sounds so good but I'm scared of mushrooms. When I was young I always associated them with drugs so now I'm irrational about them lol. How is your experience with this? Do you make other dishes or drinks with this?

I recommend organic cocoa powder. It has the bitter taste that you're longing for but none of the poison that comes with the usual commercial hot chocolate mixes.

Do you drink this with milk or mixed with water? I guess I feel kind of stupid for not considering just using cocoa powder instead of hot chocolate mixes and this definitely seems healthier.

I tried quitting coffee once and the very next day I got 3 hours of sleep so I was right in front of of the keurig again and ever since.

Ever since I have thought of quitting coffee I have started to drink it more …maybe its the exams or I have tricked myself into something …maybe I should just get non stimulating adhd meds

The real solution is a consistent sleep schedule but that's like the one thing almost no one can do without significant discipline. I also heard working out makes you more energetic but I'm too tired to exercise so it's a vicious cycle.

I like exercising and coffee helps me do it…I can work on the sleep thing ig
