I asked for layers and she lazily only snipped like two strands of hair bear the front of my face

I wanted ash-blonde color hair. Showed pictures. Ended up with purple hair. I hated it. In retrospect I should've just enjoyed the ride.

Someone's going to think this is stupid but whatever.

It was a totally decent cut & color, but when talking about restaurants she made a joke about spitting in people's food in a way that gave me such an icky vibe about who she was as a person.

When I was 16 I wanted to have orange hair, mine was really long and voluminous but instead of telling me it'd be impossible or that it'd take many sessions, they decided to do it all in one go. They started bleaching it from the top but by the time they got to the tips my scalp was fucking burning, like it was legit smoking. They rinsed it and then finished she process but for like the next 5-ish years, maybe more, that area of my scalp (back of my head) would feel gooey and my hair would grow as if perpetually humid.

I went to check out some hair salons, saw the prices, noticed that they'd charge me more for being a woman, then I left and asked one of my friends to cut my hair instead. She did a good job.
I later found a salon that has equal pricing, no further problems.
