stinky from stress/bodily anxiety Anonymous 22246

nonas, what do you do about sweating/producing odor from sweating? I shower frequently and keep good hygiene but it seems persistent. Other than deodorant and perfume, I can’t think of anything else. I don’t shave or do hair removal because I’m on a tight budget but apparently it helps remove smell. Are there any foods or drinks that remove body odor?

Inb4 “stop stressing”, that’s for /feels/ and is something I’m working on.

You should put your sweat in my mouth

sometimes odor might not be related to your hygiene. it could be a bacterial infection, fungal infection, or an unrelated illness

having odor doesn't mean you're not clean. bodies are different like that.

just use deodorant. it's the cheapest and easiest way to go about it

Yup, bodies react in odd ways.

My friend got prescription deodorant and then eventually got her sweat glands removed completely… So maybe to a doctor. Also how often do you wash your bath towel? Odor can get onto you from that too.

I use a clean towel. i have two and wash them each week/twice a wk. So at most I use one towel like 2-3 times. I also do exfoliation with one of those body scrubber cloths and put it thru the washing machine weekly.
