Anyone else that doesn't care about the typical 'beauty' routines?

>No fake hair extensions and cheap tapes

>No fake eyelashes and no mascara
>No hair dye that damages and ruins hair
>No fake blonde dye to try and get more male attention than natural brunettes
>No 1ml lip fillers that only last 6 months and no filler lumps and filler migrates creating a weird shadow under the lips
>No instagram and no sea of desperate comments from moids
>No fake nails that last 2-3 weeks
>No onlyfans (lol past is forever)
>No piercings
>No tattoos
>No heels

Those who take it easy are rewarded in the next life

I can't even get past step 3 in a skincare routine

Beauty industry are selling mostly snake oil anyway. Why don't moids try wearing makeup themselves if they love it so much. Oh WAIT!

>Beauty routines
>Tattoos

Do people think this? I understand the others have been marketed as "beauty" enhancements (even though they look trashy), but tattoos are retarded and trashy. Most millennials I know were brainwashed by movies of the 90s-00s to get tattoos, and when you point this out to them, they get defensive and say words to the effect of "I would never be brainwashed. I studied critical thinking. Tattoos are a way to express myself and you're just perpetuating outdated standards." They never wonder what made those standards 'outdated'…

You just sound like a miserable ass person to be around if you see someone with a tat and think they're brainwashed. What would be the point of 'brainwashing' someone to do that? Do you think there's some sort of huge conspiracy in which big ink is putting subliminal messages in shows to make people wanna get tattoos or something

+1.
My only qualm with tattoos is that you're slathering inorganic ink onto your body, and the process seems unbelievably painful. I've heard of one youtuber whose tattoo resulted in chronic pain because of the stuff inside e.g heavy metals.

Same here, I honestly can't be bothered to do all that.
I shower, brush my hair and I think I look great.
Maybe I don't look as super pretty as women who really put effort into their appearance, but I'm fine with that.
That woman in the screenshot?
I think she looks great too.

Anonymous 22397

Those are going out of trend. Right now being "effortlessly beautiful" is the goal. So no visible alteration of your face or body, you must look like you were born perfect jfl

Anonymous 22401

Some of these are a bit retarded. It looks like this post was made by a moid.
>No onlyfans
>No piercings
>No tattoos
God knows these aren't typical beauty routines. If you're larper moid go back to /r9k/, if you're a woman consider educating yourself

Wanted to add that I think tattoos are beautiful, I don't have any because I'm a coward who has trouble making definite decisions.
>>22373
A lot of those are unnecessarily judgemental, I don't do beauty routines because I'm lazy, not because I'd look down on anyone who puts actual effort in their appearance.
I actually didn't read past the lip filler thing before tbh, I don't know what those are
>no instagram
That's not a beauty routine…
>>22401
You're probably right, the onlyfans thing looks like a dead giveaway. I've never met anyone who does onlyfans or anything like that but I have certainly seen rightoid incels believing that every single woman is a sex worker.

Anonymous 22408

I personally think it's more of a flex to look good without all of that. if you need fillers/extreme makeup/etc to look good then you don't actually look good. that's why I invest much more in my skincare and personal grooming.

Anonymous 22411

>>22387
>What would be the point of brainwashing someone to do that

Because it aligns with the broader programming we receive; the more converging factors there are, the harder it is to break that programming. The general message we're sent is "you are a unique individual, and the way you express that individuality is by buying something someone else made." Tattoos are one of many commodities we can buy to supposedly express individuality, except that standards have slipped enough that the only way a tattoo can stand out now is if you get it on your face.

Another theory of mine is that tattoos make you a lot easier to identify, so it probably helps law enforcement when you get tattoos.

Anonymous 22413

I feel like the motivation to get tattoos comes from the same part of the brain that makes people give their children shitty names like tragedeigh
like it's a semi permanent way to show "individuality" that's more important to the person than the negatives, such as broader social disapproval (which is what makes it trashy)

But it isn't always trashy. Tattoos can be culturally consistent and be appropriate for certain groups. Yakuza are an extreme example but I wouldn't cringe if it's congruent with whatever the person does. I think it also has to be a bit of a flex to break social norms while still being tolerated or accepted - it actually requires more social skill than most have. Which is also when it's less trashy.

its like cigarettes
they were marketted as rebelious and signaling freedom or some bullshit
when historically they were used to brand cattle and criminals lol

tattoos are honestly cheugy now and i’m so glad they’ve been out for a while. i’ve genuinely always wondered how women with large tattoos cope. a couple cute little ones are one thing, but taking up your upper thigh or shoulder or upper arm with a tattoo is as bad of self harm as blacking out your face to me im sorry. especially when all of them are bad and ugly. i see good ones on the internet but i assume they’re photoshopped or brand new.
