>Most hairstyles look like shit
>Slightest breeze makes it fly in all directions
>Very hard to prevent damage and split ends
>Gets soaking oily in 1-2 days
>Split ends and thinning are way more apparent
>Can't experiment with dye or bleach or all the 3 hairs on your head will break off

I hate having fine and thin hair

Find some celebrity or w.e. with the same hair type and hairstyle you want and ask your hairdresser how to maintain it. You might need to experiment with different products too. Don't be afraid to buy something that may never prove useful while you do.

I know it's all obvious, but you really just have to keep trying until it works out.

Have you considered growing it enough to make braids ? Mine is only wavy and I noticed that past a certain critical length the weight is enough to keep it for me

The longest it goes is to the ends of my shoulder blades

And braids look embarrassing on me, they're as thin as my finger

I wish i had fine hair, if i dont braid my hair it knots into fabric, just copy some japanese lady you like.

Why I as a white person would follow an asian's person hair advice when their hair is completely different

Mine also knots if I don't put it iin a bun or something kekkk its not a thick hair problem only

Well yeah you're supposed to take a shower every day

Anonymous 22484

>>22483
Every other day actually, unless you want your skin to be 120 grit sandpaper

You don't have to shower and use soap on every square inch of your body but thin hair will never be able to go days and days without being washed or using product to help it not look greasy. You'll probably have to wash thin hair every day to maintain volume.

That was my point in the op. That there's no workaround having fine hair and it getting greasy fast because it's like this by design
But >>22483 made it sound like you're supposed to shower every day regardless of your hair type or how oily your skin is

As someone with thin light hair I find that the longer it gets, the better it holds up not getting shampoo'd. I shower twice daily, but I only used to wash my hair twice a week when it was below my shoulders. Day 2 and day 3 hair feels conditioned and easier to handle.
