I'm a generic loser that is only now wanting to be somewhat the usual girl. I have like a few forms of eyeliner products but I still can't do a simple wing. I also have tube mascara, concealer, pressed powder, powder blush, matte lipsticks, lip balm, lip liner. I want to "complete" the kit by getting foundation and a good set of eyeshadow.
It irks me that there is so many makeup products and a lot of them are expensive as fuck. I also found out, if you don't have a good skincare routine, the makeup wont look as good and now I have to think of getting moisturising skincare and get makeup remover.
Another problem is when I wear makeup, I only have generic shirts and pants from years of being a tomboy, so I feel like it looks unmatching. When I wear blush and lipstick, on me I look like a clown. But other girls own it effortlessly
I feel so insecure. Am I just overthinking this? What am I doing wrong?

Mhm, sounds like you're overthinking.

Ordered my first perfume today. I used this website: fragrantica.com to help me decide which one to buy without actually trying it first. Now i'm worried that it might have been an irresponsible thing to do, because fancy perfumes are very expensive, what if it doesn't go well on my skin, what if i don't like it… I did took several weeks to decide on one, but still, i could have bought at least eight new books with that money.

Gonna invest in a silk pillowcase, they are good both for hair and skin. Less friction and moisture loss.
