Has anyone here seen The Tune? It was animated by hand by Bill Plympton, entirely on his own. Not necessarily a kid's film but was one of my favorites as a bebe

not really a movie but check out 'The Glass Harmonica' contains a score from Alban Berg who uses polyphony and the theme is pretty beautiful. Some interesting themes using an art form that wasn't as heavily censored by the USSR at the time.
