I'm having trouble manifesting the things I want, maybe I'm my spell-work incorrectly but I feel sometimes that it's a pointless Larp. I feel better when I do shadow work though but I feel like I'm just kinda stuck

Things have happened after spells or rituals for me sometimes. Unfortunately, it was almost never pretty. A large amount of spellwork is larp but it's not pointless: if you figure out a ritual/practice that actually does something, there's a high chance of it not being quite what you intended in a monkey's paw type situation that can even take lives. for that reason most of the rituals are meant as a form of safeguarding against negative effects, often by safeguarding against any effects whatsoever, but also by setting intentions and expectations so that if anything does happen, you are at least protected from it.
