What's the verdict on Lindsay Clancy?

Anonymous 12220

This thread is about to attract so much bait.

Anyways I'll get scrotefoiled for this but I don't feel bad for her, it might've been psychosis causing this but those kids didn't deserve it and if she's in that bad of a mental state she should probably be kept under supervision. I dislike the husband though, why wasn't he keeping an eye on his kids or making sure his wife was ok? People saying they wanna kill their babies for this is unhinged though, gives me vibes of those "Regretful Parents" subreddits where they say they wanna murder suicide their children

Total baby death!
She just did a late term abortion, there isn't much difference between outside or inside of the womb.

I think it might be a psyop because it's all over the media though I'm not sure what the angle is

I can't honestly tell if it's a psyop anymore or not.

Social media has fucked up a lot of my friends. I know some of them that unironically agree.

My impression from the story I heard is that it was premeditated because of how she deliberately sent off her husband as far away as she needed. Although I’ve also heard their state is one of those with the more lax rules for NGRI.

It doesn’t matter if she is guilty or “not”, she’s being sent off for a long time anyway. The people who donated to her should’ve given like 1% to me and I’d have enough to pay off a down payment, what a waste desu.

I also don’t really understand her alleged psychosis, maybe it’s just the experience I’ve had with it, but I don’t think “hearing a male voice commands” alone sounds very convincing. Maybe I didn’t see much accounts of paranoia, broadcast thinking, delusions, I could’ve just missed it. These actions are possible outside of psychosis, although I’d like to review other mother murder suicide cases before I say for certain.
Also at least if she had lucid enough periods to seek help, then she had the ability to remove herself from her children. This is even if she was psychotic.

And to be clear, my position pretty much is that her agency was impaired but she didn’t make a sufficient effort to deal with her mental state. As far as I recall she gave up on counseling for one, no? Correct me if I wrong.
So she might not be a full cold blooded killer, but she has a degree of responsibility still.

Apparently forensic psychs did find she was likely psychotic, but that doesn’t mean she was void of agency. So it’s pretty much negligence the way it looks to me.

I disturbed by some of the posts I've read on there. But more than anything I thank god I don't have children because all of those parent's lives sound like sheer hell. Especially the mothers, who's husbands never help.

More importantly maybe we shouldn't be pressuring women to have kids while lying to them that it doesn't destroy their lives if they're not 1000% baby crazy and baby oriented.

Irrelevant

Anonymous 12239

>>12234
This is how I see it.

Moids are responsible for a lot of the awful shit in our lives but at some point you do need to take responsibility.

>>12237
She had 3 children. The first one can always be a poor decision but the other 2? How do you make that mistake 2 more times afterwards? The moid can't force you to have 2 more when he's already been locked down by just one. Divorce courts are one of the few places we have an advantage, especially when there's children involved and if you can afford to spend all this time fighting murder charges you could have afforded to document everything and take what's yours in a divorce proceeding.

Abortions are a human right, dummy.

Anonymous 12244

Do you guys believe the theory that her husband pressured her into having kids or raped her and that's why she went insane? I don't really but I know a lot of people who defend her say this

Anonymous 12245

>>12244
I haven’t heard anything that indicates that.
What I did hear is she kept working night shifts while trying to take care of the kids, and if she has bipolar that’s very dangerous and could have potentially provoked an episode. (Or deteriorated her mental health further)

Anonymous 12246

>>12234
She was in the prodromal phase where she started to lose it but wasn't all the way gone. That's when you start to lose your mind so she probably started planning their murders then but still knew better than to go through with it. She basically wasn't in control of her own actions, this is part of why I believe she should be free and at most put in mandatory therapy or given meds. The system failed her

Anonymous 12247

>>12246
The system has failed a lot of us. Most of us have mental health issues at this point. Shockingly most of us do not commit murder.
>>12245
That's even worse. Her moid was well off. I have sympathy for all the mothers stuck with kids who still have to work but when you get the chance to be a stay at home parent and choose not to? You had the choice.

Can people please stop looking for reasons to defend murder. It just makes us all look bad. Not sure if any of you have checked but there's a bunch of conservative moids in charge right now who would really like to throw away our rights.

Anonymous 12248

Husband’s fault 100%

Anonymous 12249

Feel free to ban me(moid) but this place is unusually much saner than women on social media elsewhere and I wanted to let whoevers reading this know it's appreciated. Maybe the world is as dark as it is but there are still some sane(mostly) women left in the world.

Please don't take this as a sign to become more insane, it isn't.
