Factually untrue as the cost of living in most countries seem to be going up for various reasons. It’s better for people who live together under two incomes to have more financial security, with chores being a task for both sides it allows for potential free time (unless you have children and even then they will eventually be burden with the task of chores to support the house hold)

Tl;Dr I think our terminally online society has left to many as self centered babies (men and women it’s literally everywhere)
