I'll start: I hate most commentary channels and debate bro channels. There all just generic moids screaming at each other over nothing and usually are racist or creepy in some way. My least favorites have to be TurkeyTom, LioConvoy, Xanderhal, and Vaush

I hate the way the website is designed to be addictive but most of the stuff it recommends is shit. They put so much effort into pulling you into the site and keeping you there but they don't care what kind of crap you watch just that you're around to show ads to. There is good stuff on the website but it's almost not even worth it because of how clear it is that the people running the site don't care about their users. It feels like I'm being messed with if I spend too much time on it

My friend kind of put the problem with YouTube perfectly.
In the early days, Youtube channels were all run by losers who knew that they were losers. So they made stupid nonsense that wasn't serious and could sometimes be really funny. Then, sometime around 2015, for no reason at all, the self aware losers all started getting replaced with pompus losers who think they're not losers. So you get a fuck ton of pretention and narcissism and business/marketing minded BS where there used to be fun. Nothing is sincere anymore. Everything is just min/maxing an algorithm to make talking about stuff as profitable as possible despite NONE of these losers having anything of value to say.

YouTube has been recommending me livestreams with 1 viewer for years now and I don't know why it's been doing this, they started in 2023 and it's just been going and going like this. Is this happening for anyone else?

When I watch shorts I sometimes get recommended streams with like 100 viewers or less. Been like that for a year for me. I mean, it's good for small creators I guess, but the streams are always super low quality.

VTubers are pretty much the absolute bottom of online content and entertainment as a whole. Somehow taking the already soulless formula for being a streamer/youtuber successfully and making everything about it even faker and gayer. All of them are so fucking annoying and their avatars all look horrendous. I am not even sympathetic to the women who do this and then get face doxed and harrassed for being "ugly." The scrotes who do this deserve to be stripped of financial agency and the right to be among the public but unironically, you knew you were catering to a depraved audience from the get-go. You signed up for this.
I find it incredibly funny that 4chan's 2 most popular boards at any given time are /pol/ and /vt/.

I just feel like Youtube is mostly a waste of time and is mainly for kids and teenagers, even though that's one of the worst platforms they can go on unsupervised. And I still have a grudge against Youtube for constantly pushing Andrew Tate and other misogynists in everyone's recommendations and shorts algorithms. Even people who kept pushing "don't recommend this" for their algorithm kept getting spammed with that content. This was back in 2022-2023 so I'm not sure if they've changed it.
