They have less of a nervous system than most fungi and don't really feel pain as you would know it. It's no different from eating raw mushrooms or yeast. If you stabbed them with a knife a few times before eating it might cause it to experience "stress", but on a very basic level to indicate to the creature to try and defend itself. But normally you eat them by quickly ripping them out of the shell and eating them whole. You kill it pretty instantly.

But also oysters are so fucking tasty. I was lucky enough to go to university on the coast and spoiled myself rotten on the oysters that were too misshapen for the bars and restaurants, they ugly ones are dirt cheap in supermarkets and off the boat if you can catch the fishermen in the morning. Unfortunately they're very high in minerals that mean you probably shouldn't eat way too many of them way too often, but fuck me I could eat a pound for dinner with some good bread every day of the week and be a very happy woman.

I just moved into a new house and one thing I've learned with having white walls is that they get dirty so easily. We got matte paint just because it was cheaper than semigloss but semigloss is apparently easier to clean and is recommended in high traffic areas like the living room… So don't make my mistake. T_T

My brother is a bit of a chemistry geek so he made me replace literally 90% of my cleaning agents with baking soda and white vinegar. I remember being on an AirBNB years ago that had a clogged toilet and pouring half a container of baking soda into the toilet, then two bottles of vinegar which produced a lot of gas and immediately unclogged everything!
They're cheap, safe for the environment and work wonders for drains and surfaces as well

I am trying my absolute best all the time, I am dating all the time, trying to talk to guys, I meet so many nice and sweet and interesting ones but they are never taking me out on any dates. I always initiate. Is it really that hard. Like I am actually very cute, 6'0, long hair, I take very good care of my looks, clothes, I have an apartment, job, I own property, my mental is semi ok, except I'm clingy, I have a very nice body. I have lots of hobbies and I am well read sort of, I don't spend time on social media. I have everything going for me and even that's not enough. I can't even get a movie date. Not her but it seems like in your case, it’s a temporary thing (unless I’m mistaken). For some people sex is as big of a need as emotional intimacy/forms of love. If you’re not really into sex in the first place or you have a low sex drive, it’s hard to understand that need. I'm most likely going to be on this medication (or some form of it) for the rest of my life, so it's not a temporary thing. It just really feels like a huge detriment to ever forming a relationship when people say 'sex is an integral part of being with another person' and I can't enjoy it.
