I highly recommend using cloudflare's csam scanning tool to stop illegal images from appearing on your site. It also helps to block proxies as well. I think as an imageboard community we can stop this shit but we need to start taking measures to put an end to it. If you want to step away from your board for awhile don't leave posting open. It will get spammed. Just put it in read only until you come back.
And yes, I'm posting this on all the imageboards I find. No I'm not a bot.

Make it so when a moid is banned, they can't appeal their ban and don't even get a notice of the ban. It seems like they are able to posts, but their posts don't actually show up so it takes them longer to realize they are banned.

Why are the replies so rude
I have seen so many rude replies on this site in response to very lukewarm posts. Why is that?
Why is this place so unnecessarily ban-happy? I have NO idea why I get temp banned but it happens a lot! Even if I don't break the rules..? It feels like being allowed to post here has nothing to do with the actual rules. My posts are obviously from a female, they're humorous most of the time, I don't have beef with anyone here, It is too much.

I think this is a place that's really empowering for women, and that has become more and more important to me.

Are posters who spend "too much time around moids" allowed to post here? I've been accused of sounding like a moid and as far as the TERF thread has taught me that doesn't stop me from having XX chromosomes. Does Admin want me to send in a DNA test or what?

This is the second time a coom chim is spamming the/b/ board with a disgusting website that has CPin it. Can't this be reported to authorities or sites about reporting CP? The moid literally sharing the abuse of women and underage girls should pay the price.
Two ideas for stopping raids and spamming.
1.Captcha.
Can't we create a captcha system? I know that it won't do that much againts raiding, but atleast it will slow down the raiders, spammers and bots.
2.Letter for verifying.
You know how some websites want you to write them a leeter to accept you? After the letter is varified by the mods you can go here and post anonymously as much as you want. It will also help filter out the trolls who want to spam here. Also I know the possibility of some trolls who can write such letter, but it will stop the ones who don't want to go through the effort.
Is it possible as a mod to check people's posts history before deleting a post on the account of it being a "moid" posting?

If shotas(and, I assume lolies) both nsfw and sfw are banned from the site in general then why is that not posted in the rules? At best we have a blurb on /nsfw/ but that just seems to imply that no nsfw shota is to be posted, as opposed to it being against the rules to post Naruto.

Is staff working towards a captcha system yet? It's very obvious that these people are using bots to spam some of this shit considering how it's formatted. There are a couple off of Github that'd do just fine.
You guys can be kind of mean. (Not the staff but many of the people who post here.) You're not going to have a totally new and comfy place on the internet to hang out if you keep bringing around the same bitter attitude you picked up from other imageboards.

Comment limits
I've seen some users comment on how long our threads stay up and how it might be detrimental. Our board is slow and seldom-used threads quickly drop off the first pages, which then makes it harder to find them again, which leads to more duplicate threads. I'm considering adjusting the comment limit to something more reflective of our activity and archiving old threads after a while.
However, this would mean making new threads all the time even though the old ones weren't even close to full, and starting over with the same conversation.
Do you like the current limit or are you in favor of shorter threads?

Any odds of moving to a non-tracking captcha alternative that doesn't penalise VPN users? 8chan, despite being otherwise a spaghetti-coded mess, uses some other non-google alternative.
Or failing that making it necessary only for thread creation rather than posting in existing threads would be good.

I'm taking applications via email. Your first task is to avoid asking where to send your application. I'm sure you can figure it out.
In your email, please write a short introduction about yourself, including your age, what you want me to call you, how you found crystal.cafe, and what you like and dislike about it. If I like your application, I will approach you with a set of hypothetical scenarios for you to respond to.

You will start as a Janitor and will later be promoted to Moderator if everything works out.
You can volunteer to only moderate specific boards.
All applicants who receive a reply will be asked to prove beyond reasonable doubt that they are female both during the interview process and at random points during their stay on the team. I'm not entirely sure how invasive this process will be, but I will be as respectful of your privacy as possible. Please understand that an all-female team is the foundation of this website and this cannot be compromised under any circumstances.

Hi! I'm new here, and so far I really like the vibe of this board compared to the others. I've read the FAQs and the rules but I still don't quite get how rules #6 (no persons under 18) and #7 no male bait/thirst-posting can be enforced? This is an anonymous board after all.

Rule 7
While I appreciate what you're tying to do here, the way I see it eventually one of two things is going to happen:
1) the userbase is going to grow to the point where this rule becomes un-enforceable, at which point the community is going to change and this'll just be another imageboard like all the others
2) you're going to have issued infinity-1 length IP bans on the entire IP range and you'll limit yourselves out of existence. When most people go to a site and find that they're banned when they try to make their first post, they don't bother to appeal the ban, they just go somewhere else.
The reason 'tits of GTFO' is a thing on other imageboards is precisely because using your gender as a means of validate your point is a shitty argument. imo you'd be better off preempting the first outcome by using a 'balls or GTFO' equivalent to dissuade the kind of posts you're trying to limit.
I'm glad to see you've at least come to your senses with the 88 year bans (88 is an odd number btw, is that a reference to something?), you might want to consider reviewing your existing ban list if this kind of length has been the norm.
As I pointed out in the other thread, you're also not making your lives easier by not having a link to the rules on your homepage; unfortunately, men are not mind readers. Just chucking bans at people that feel like they're coming out of nowhere is generally going to generate a certain kind of reaction.
